The overarching aim of the course is to develop the skills, knowledge and abilities of HR practitioners, enabling them to approach people management in a more strategic, professionalised and effective manner. In year one, from March 2020 to February 2021, you will study Developing Skills for Business Leadership, Employee Resourcing, Leading, Managing and Developing People followed by HRM in Context.

Then, from April 2021 to April 2022, you will study Investigating a Business Issue from an HR Perspective, Human Resource Management in a Legal Context and Employment Relations. You will finish your studies with Research Methods & Dissertation.

The course starts in March, the Postgraduate Certificate is studied for 14 months; The Postgraduate Diploma is studies for 23 months and the MA is studied for 26 months.

The course commences with an online induction and is then taught entirely online via recorded lectures, webinars, chatrooms, discussion boards, work based projects and written materials.

The course is designed to be part-time where you can study each module in your own time via the online platforms, reading materials and work-based projects.
